Mino Raiola Networth 2022:
Who is Mino Raiola?
Mino Raiola is a $50 million wealthy Italian football (soccer) agent. Mino Raiola was born in November 1967 in Nocera Inferiore, Italy. He has acted as a representative for a number of well-known players, including Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Romelu Lukaku, Marco Verratti, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Mario Balotelli, and Marco Verratti.
Raiola was born in 1967 in the southern Italian town of Nocera Inferiore, Salerno. He moved to the Dutch city of Haarlem with his parents a year later. Raiola spent his early life in the Netherlands working as a waiter for his father, who built a successful restaurant business. Concurrently, he got his high school graduation and enrolled in a two-year university, where he studied law. He began his football career with HFC Haarlem’s young squad but left at the age of 18 to become the youth team’s head coach.
Raiola continued in football after a short time as a player and manager, this time as an agent. Ajax player Bryan Roy (to Foggia) Marciano Vink (to Genoa) Wim Jonk and Dennis Bergkamp (both to Internazionale) were among the high-profile Dutch players he helped move to Italian teams (in 1994 to Padua). But after a time, he decided to quit and start his own business. Pavel Nedvd came to Lazio from Sparta Prague after an excellent UEFA Euro 1996 campaign in which his Czech Republic reached the final. Raiola coached around 20 players in European leagues.
He lived in Monaco. In 2008, he was involved in two legal hearings for transfer irregularities initiated by the FIGC as part of an Italian government probe into professional football. Raiola reportedly made €25 million on Paul Pogba’s €105 million deal to Manchester United in August 2016 and then bought Al Capone’s old Miami house for €9 million.
On May 8, 2019, the Italian Football Federation suspended Raiola for three months from functioning as an agency representative, and his cousin Vincenzo Raiola for two months. The FIFA Disciplinary Committee adopted the Italian federation’s decisions on May 10. Raiola and his cousin won their appeal against the three-month ban at the Federal Court of Appeal in Italy on June 13, 2019.
On 22 January 2020, Raiola joined a group of prominent football agents, including Jorge Mendes and Jonathan Barnett, in threatening FIFA with legal fines in response to the proposed transfer payment limit.
