Pajitnov, a well-known global computer engineer, was born in Moscow, Russia on April 16, 1955. In addition, after moving to the United States in 1991, he became a citizen of the United States. His parents were authors, referring to his mother, a journalist, and Pajitnov’s father, an art critic. According to research, Alexey’s parents’ names are not warranted.
Pajitnov was raised in the arts by his parents. Furthermore, Alexey’s parents split when he was only 11 years old. For several years after the divorce, he lived in a one-bedroom apartment with his mother. At the Moscow Aviation Institute, he studied mathematics.

After getting his degree in 1979, he worked on speech recognition technologies at the Dorodnitsyn Computer Centre. He became interested in video games while working at the Computer Centre. Pajitnov, a Computer Centre employee, grew obsessed with computer video games.
Alexey enjoyed playing pentominoes as a child. He was inspired to build a game based on the concept after having problems reassembling a set of pentominoes. In the facility’s computer center, he began designing Tetris on an Electronic 60.

In 1996, Pajitnov and Henk Rogers established The Tetris Corporation. As a result, he became eligible for future game royalties. Following that, he and Pokhiko established the 3D software business AnimaTek and created the game Pandora’s Box.
