When We Were Young Festival Line-up For 2023 Includes Green Day And Blink 182

Even though this year’s When We Were Young hasn’t happened yet, the throwback music festival has already announced its lineup for 2023. Green Day and the newly reunited Blink-182 will be the headliners.

This year’s headliners, My Chemical Romance and Paramore, show a clear shift from emo to pop-punk. Other bands on the lineup include 30 Seconds to Mars, the Offspring, Good Charlotte, 5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low, Pierce the Veil, Rise Against, Yellowcard, Sum 41, Simple Plan, and New Found Glory.

When We Were Young, which takes place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, has set a date for Oct. 21, 2023. However, since the first show this year sold out, two more were added, so it’s likely that the same thing will happen again next year.

Tickets will go on sale before the show on October 14 at 10 a.m. PT. On the website for When We Were Young, it says that people who signed up for the 2022 presale will get a 2023 presale code automatically on Friday morning.

Plain White T’s, Something Corporate, Gym Class Heroes, Say Anything, Michelle Branch, the Front Bottoms, Saves the Day, Bowling for Soup, Joyce Manor, Beach Bunny, Less Than Jake, Goldfinger, Turnover, Thrice, Waterparks, the Wrecks, and more will also be playing at the festival in 2023.

When We Were Young 2022 is happening on Oct. 22, 23, and 29. There will be dozens of emo bands playing, including My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Bring Me the Horizon, A Day to Remember, Avril Lavigne, Bright Eyes, Jimmy Eat World, and many more.

General admission tickets to next year’s festival cost $249.99, while GA+ tickets cost $419.99 and VIP tickets cost $519.99.
