Is Simon Cowell having undergone plastic surgery? If you live in Hollywood, you’re well aware that plastic surgery is a way of life. Cosmetic surgery is a way of life for reality TV stars (Vicki Gunvalson and Heidi Montag, to name a few) and A-list celebrities (Britney Spears, Nicole Kidman, and Kylie Jenner, to name a few).

Sometimes the surgery is minimally invasive, such as Botox or lip fillers; other times, celebrities go all-in with a nose job, breast lift, liposuction, and butt implants (looking at you, Kim)! However, Simon Cowell, a judge on American Idol, The X Factor, and America’s Got Talent, has joined the list of celebrities who look unrecognizable after undergoing plastic surgery.

Why did Simon Cowell change his face?

The former American Idol judge decided he looked “like something from a horror film,” and his 8-year-old son Eric was terrified. “Eric was in hysterics,” Cowell said, which prompted him to discontinue the injectables. “I’d had enough. There is no filler in my face anymore.

Cowell admitted to getting “too much Botox” and a facelift just before his 60th birthday in October 2019. Perhaps a birthday present?

But he didn’t get a facelift because he felt he was aging; he got one because he did lose 20 pounds on a vegan diet as well as his face began to sag.

Simon Cowell Recognizes Having A $2,700 Plastic Surgery Facelift Procedure

Simon Cowell has no qualms about admitting he is vain.

The “America’s Got Talent” host, who will return to judge Season 13 alongside Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel on May 29, told Britain’s The Sun on Sunday that he’d seen plastic surgeon Jean-Louis Sebagh for a Silhouette Soft Lift.

According to the newspaper, the procedure “involves sewing bioplastic-infused thread into the neck and face and tugging it to get rid of sagging skin.” It costs around $2,700.

“You have a lot of options now,” Simon, 58, has Said on Sunday. “You don’t have to stuff the face with filler and Botox.”

Simon, who was photographed behind and in front of at the NBCUniversal Summer Press Day in Universal City, California, on May 2, also told the newspaper, “It hurts like hell, but it gets rid of sun damage and unplugs everything. It’s all about having clean skin now for me. You look better when your skin is clean. However, you must exercise extreme caution with some of this material.”

According to The Sun on Sunday, Simon’s French doctor has been dubbed “The Picasso of dermatology” and has other famous clients such as Cindy Crawford, 52, Elle Macpherson, 54, and Kylie Minogue, 49.

“Hopefully I look better now — I probably had one too many Botox a couple years ago, because everything on TV has it,” he told Britain’s Mirror. “Right now, I have facials, but nothing too extravagant.”

Simon, who has been dating Lauren Silverman, 40, the mother of his 4-year-old son, Eric, since 2013, has done many other things to help him relax, unwind, and look his best.

The British music and entertainment star, seen above in 2015, said he liked getting regular facial massages and was also a fan of getting regular vitamin injections (a cocktail of B12, vitamin C, and magnesium) through an IV drip delivered by a nurse who came to his house.

“I even had a sheep placenta facial once, which was quite out there,” he told the Mirror in 2015.
