Titanfall 3 Release Date Status

Titanfall 3 Release Date

Fans hoping for a third installment in the FPS series that was launched by developer Respawn Entertainment have discovered new hope that Titanfall 3 will be released soon.

Titanfall’s first game, a multiplayer-only FPS, was released in 2014. It introduced players to the Titanfall universe, which is filled with two warring factions who battle across different locations in space with giant mechs known as Titans. The enhanced humans known as Pilots who drive them are controlled by the players. A sequel was created that not only provided another fantastic multiplayer experience but also treated fans to one of the most entertaining FPS campaigns they had seen in a long time.

Titanfall 2 was met with disappointing sales numbers when it was first released. That didn’t stop the game from impressing almost everyone who tried it, resulting in a devoted Titanfall player base. Titanfall 2 attracted a large number of players while also breaking concurrent player records years after its initial release.

Titanfall 3 Release date

Titanfall 3 could be in the works and released next year. Last month, EA revealed that it is up to Respawn Entertainment whether or not a Titanfall 3 is made, giving fans of the first-person shooter series hope that a third game will be made. Others, however, were quick to point out how busy Respawn Entertainment is these days, with Apex Legends and a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 rumored to be in the works. However, it appears that it has recently added Titanfall 3 to its roster.

Taking to Twitter, industry insider and leaker Tom Henderson – best known for his leaks and scoops on Call of Duty and Battlefield – appears to have teased the release of Titanfall 3 next year. Henderson recently tweeted four games that he “thinks” “should” release next year. Starfield is one of them, as is Skull & Bones, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Titanfall 3.

Titanfall 3 rumors & hints

Over the last few years, the timeline for a potential trilogy entry has been an up and down ride. Chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen discussed the series and Respawn’s potential as a studio on EA’s 2020 Q1 financial conference call.

He alluded to Titanfall 3 at one point, saying, “Perhaps we’ll see Titanfall sometime down the road.” This naturally piqued fans’ interest, which was only heightened by reports from multiple sources that the game was in the works.

The most recent update was more upbeat, serving as a beacon of hope for fans eagerly anticipating the long-awaited third game. Following the removal of Titanfall 2 from paid subscription services, Respawn stated on December 1, 2022: “Rest assured, Titanfall is core to Respawn’s DNA, and this incredible universe will continue.”

Titanfall 3 platforms

Titanfall 2 was a major AAA title released by EA and Respawn Entertainment for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If Titanfall 3 is released, we can expect it to be available on all major platforms, with the possible exception of the Nintendo Switch.

As a result, a PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC release are all possibilities. But it’s anyone’s guess whether EA will want to invest in old-gen hardware right now.

Titanfall 3 Gameplay

Titanfall 2’s fast-paced gameplay and unique use of giant robots known as Titans set it apart from its competitors, and we’d like to see an evolution of this in the upcoming game. We don’t know how closely Titanfall 3’s gameplay will resemble Titanfall 2. However, given how much the most recent entry’s movement and gunplay were praised by fans, we’d be surprised if the sequel didn’t stick pretty close to that formula.
