Apex Legends Season 13: New Legend

Don’t let the name fool you: Apex Legends’ Newcastle is not a Geordie. Rather than that, he is a shield-bearing knight with the ability to completely secure a spot within fortifications.

While his complete ability set has not been released, the Season 13 trailer hinted at his arsenal. Newcastle deploys an energy shield that can be adjusted on the spot, and at one point, while reviving Pathfinder, he deploys another barrier (similar to Lifeline’s pre-rework revive shield). His ultimate appears to be a giant barricade capable of withstanding a great deal more damage than Rampart’s walls, based on the trailer.

Adding a legend with such a strong emphasis on hardcover appears to be an attempt to shake up the long-standing Gibraltar meta, despite the fact that past defensive heroes such as Wattson and Rampart have frequently ended up being pretty poor. Regardless, Apex has a history of launching new characters with an excessive amount of power, so expect to be hitting your head against brick walls for the first few weeks of the new season.

Apex Legends Season 13 Map Leaks

Storm Point, Apex Legends’ newest map, appears to be in for a beating. The season trailer depicts our Legends assassinating a monstrous enemy crab, whose corpse will almost certainly emerge on the map.

However, the fortified IMC Armories which burst through to the sand are more fascinating. As with the loot vaults in King’s Canyon, these appear to be brimming with weaponry and attachments, yet attempting to seize them appears to spawn AI-controlled Spectres to defend you.

New Castles In Apex Legends Season 13

When it comes to legend, we know that Newcastle is Bangalore’s (thought-to-be-dead) half-sibling. Since it is Jackson, we actually know a lot about him owing to the Gridiron Story from the Outlands, which arrived in January and gave us a lot of information about his past.

Now that we’ve gotten the Hero Story from the Outlands, we know that Jackson has begun a new life on a distant planet and that he has become a father.

But a group called the Forgotten Families has threatened to demolish his home unless they are given a specific sum of money in exchange for their services. As a result, Jackson, also known as Newcastle, is participating in the Apex Games in order to repay them and keep his home secure.
