The Masked Singer’s final batch of celebrities comes up to bat. Prince, Baby Mammoth, Jack-in-the-Box, Queen Cobra, and Space Bunny make up the third and final group. Can Prince lead the gang to victory and give Team Good another victory? To begin with, you may be asking who the Prince is.
The final list of singers has been divided into three groups, similar to the rest of the season: the Good, the Bad, and the Cuddly. The judges — Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy, and Robin Thicke — were challenged with guessing their identities, as is customary. Firefly and Ringmaster, who were both assigned to Team Good, have already won their places in the finals. Can Prince, their teammate, follow in their footsteps?
As he dives into the hearts of fans, Prince is sure to give it his all in the tournament. Who is the Prince, exactly? Continue reading to learn everything there is to know about the masked singer.
Who Is The Prince On The Masked Singer?
One of our favorite contestants on season 7 of “The Masked Singer” is dressed as the Prince. On April 20, he surprised the crowd with a live chorus of Ricky Martin’s “La Copa De La Vida.”
It was evident early on that this contestant is a gifted singer and dancer. On April 27, he returned with another outstanding performance, this time covering Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down.” With a fantastic rendition of Stevie Wonder’s “Sir Duke,” he secured his spot in the May 18 final.
We didn’t get many hints about the famous person hiding behind this mask, but we believe we saw and heard enough to figure out his true identity. Continue reading to learn more about “The Masked Singer,” including the answer to the question, “Who is Prince?”
We believe the Prince is Cheyenne Jackson, a former Broadway star who now works on television.
His infomercial promotes a “toadal” workout. “I’ve spent my entire life working my froggy legs off, and nothing has gotten me in better shape than my training video.” Don’t be afraid to flex those thighs! You can do it because I’m a lean, green fitness machine.” Cheyenne Jackson frequently shares photos and videos of his workouts on Instagram.
“Your Queen loves you, Prince,” says Jamie Lee Curtis in a video greeting. Cheyenne will appear alongside this veteran actor in the upcoming sci-fi film “Borderlands.”
“I’ve performed in front of a lot of people before, but this has got to be the most ridiculous performance I’ve ever been a part of,” Prince said. Cheyenne Jackson has starred in a slew of Broadway blockbusters, including the musical “Xanadu,” which was based on the 1980 Olivia Newton-John film; all of the nods to the decade during his performance were to that decade.
“I’m pleased to be back on a team, and I intend to knock it out of the park,” the Prince admitted. On the FOX smash “Glee,” Jackson had one of his earliest TV roles as the leader of an a capella group. He’s now starring in the sitcom “Call Me Kat” on FOX.
Possible hints pointed to other TV roles, such as “30 Rock” (the jacket with the number “30”) and “American Housewife” (his character was Johnny Diamond, as in the ring in the video).
Jackson, like Prince, hails from a “teeny small town” called Oldtown, Idaho, which has a population of 184 people. Both have also performed in New York’s legendary Carnegie Hall.
