The iconic doll Barbie will soon appear in a movie. The storyline of the upcoming film Barbie 2023 is shrouded in secrecy, despite the fact that it has already been praised for having an excellent script and a fantastic environment on the set.
However, the public is only aware of the film’s two main characters, Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken. Very little else about the movie is known to the general public.

When Does Barbie Movie Come Out?
The first appearance of Barbie in a movie is scheduled for the 21st of July, 2023.

The project had been in development at Sony since 2014, with Amy Schumer previously attached to star. Schumer left due to “scheduling conflicts” for her film I Feel Pretty, but later revealed that there were creative differences behind the scenes for Barbie’s vision.
Who Will Star In The Barbie Movie?
Margot Robbie will play one of the world’s most famous dolls. Meanwhile, Ryan Gosling will play one of Ken’s versions. Robbie and Gosling, however, will not be the only Barbies and Kens in town. Posters for the film have been revealed, displaying a wide range of different characters, including those performed by Dua Lipa and Simu Liu.
The posters also highlight the various vocations selected by the many barbies, like president (Issa Rae), lawyer (Sharon Rooney), and mermaid (Dua Lipa), among others. Helen Mirren has also joined the cast, as revealed by her poster, and will serve as narrator. The posters also show that Michael Cera and Emerald Fennell will play Alan and Midge, Ken and Barbie’s best friends.

Is There A Trailer For The Barbie Film?
Yes! The complete trailer for Barbie was released on May 25th, and it looks AMAZING. Barbie loses her doll-like skills and travels to the real world with Ken, where they go rollerskating, get arrested, and learn about life outside of the dollhouse. More Barbie and Ken dolls are introduced, including Kate McKinnon’s ‘Strange Barbie’ and Will Ferrel’s.

The Barbie tale, written by Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach, has been kept under wraps. “A doll living in ‘Barbie land’ is expelled for not being perfect enough and sets off on an adventure in the real world.”
Another theory holds that Barbie and Ken visit the “real world,” where Barbie is disgusted by the sexism and misogyny she encounters and wishes to return to her idyllic plastic paradise—but Ken enjoys the real world and is conflicted between his desire to stay and his desire to be with the woman he loves.
Who’s On Dua Lipa’s “Barbie” Soundtrack?
On Friday, the singer known for her hit “Levitating,” Dua Lipa, will release a new single from the film titled “Dance the Night.” On Thursday, the official Instagram account for the “Barbie” album made the star-studded musicians who would be featured on the soundtrack public knowledge. These artists include Nicki Minaj, Lizzo, Charli XCX, Haim, Tame Impala, Dominic Fike, Ice Spice, and even Ryan Gosling. You can check out the whole list here.
