According to the Memphis Police Department, a toddler was killed and a woman was injured after being shot in North Memphis on Friday (MPD).
Around 5 p.m., it happened in the 1400 block of Breedlove Street, west of I-69, near the New Chicago neighbourhood.
According to MPD, the child died at the scene. According to the police, the woman is in critical condition.
According to police, a woman who drove away from the scene after the shooting has been detained.
Officers are on a shooting scene in the 1400 block of Breedlove. A toddler and an adult female were struck. The toddler was pronounced dead and the adult is listed as critical. The known female suspect fled the scene in a gray Infiniti.
