The Wilds Season 3 Cancelled, But Why?
The Wilds had a strong start on Prime Video, with Amazon renewing the show for a second season just a week after the first batch of episodes aired. The second time around, though, it did not receive the same treatment. In actuality, Deadline reported the show’s termination at the end of July 2022.
Shannon Berry, who plays Dottie, later verified the news and expressed her sorrow on Instagram Stories, simply writing: “Thank you for being the most amazing part of these last four years, Dottie. I’ll never forget this unsinkable.”
Shelby’s actress, Mia Healy, also paid tribute to her character and shared behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram, writing: “I adore you all, especially Shelby. I will be forever transformed and appreciative. Thank you, thanks, thanks.”
According to Deadline, the second season of The Wilds was cancelled because it failed to match the enthusiasm generated by the previous season, resulting in its cancellation.
