The Umbrella Academy has once again saved the world, so now they can kind of take it easy… In this family’s life, nothing is ever quiet for too long. But saving the world from the end of the world comes with a catch, which is to be expected since none of our superheroes have their powers anymore. Which isn’t good if you need them for something else.
Or… maybe this brave new world is taken care of by a different group of dysfunctional people with superpowers? We don’t know, but there’s more to the story that we haven’t seen yet. Now we just have to figure out when we’re going to see them.
Here’s all the information you need about the next season.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 Release Date
The fourth season of The Umbrella Academy is officially renewed for 2024.
The superhero show with Elliot Page has been picked up by the streaming service for a final season.
Steve Blackman, who runs the show, said, “I’m so happy that The Umbrella Academy’s very loyal fans will be able to see the perfect end to the Hargreeves siblings’ journey, which we started five years ago.” The Umbrella Academy Season 4 may be released at the end of 2024.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4 Cast Details
Now that our prayers have been answered and another series has been given the go-ahead, of course, the whole Umbrella Academy has to be in it. This includes Tom Hopper as Luther, David Castaeda as Diego, Robert Sheehan as Klaus, Aidan Gallagher as Five, and Viktor as Viktor (played by Elliot Page).
Since no one in the family has superpowers anymore, we have a strong feeling that we might see some people die and go to the afterlife. This includes Allison, the third child, who was played by Emmy Raver-Lampman and whose future was unclear. Will she still be alive at the end of the third season?
Ben (played by Justin H. Min) and Lila (played by Ritu Arya) are also likely to be in it. Luther’s wife Sloane, who was played by Genesis Rodriguez, has also vanished, so it’s not clear if we’ll see her again. And what about The Sparrow Academy? Again, we can’t really guess, so we’ll just have to wait and see if Justin Cornwell (Marcus), Justin H. Min (Ben), Britne Oldford (Fei), Jake Epstein (Alphonso), Genesis Rodriguez (Sloane), and Cazzie David (Jayme) show up.
Plot Of The Umbrella Academy Season 4
The plot of Umbrella Academy season four is still a secret, and there are no hints about what will happen. Our best guess is that it will pick up where season three left off. So, why don’t you just do it? Go watch it RN to make your own guesses about what might happen next.
There’s no doubt that the Hargreeves kids will have to save the world again and that trouble will happen. Luther, who just got married, is also on a mission to find his missing wife Sloan, so we expect this to come to a head in season three or maybe even season four.
The End Of Season 3 Of The Umbrella Academy:
The Hargreeves (both Umbrellas and Sparrows) go through the portal in the White Buffalo Suite of the Hotel Obsidian to the Hotel Oblivion in the season 3 finale of The Umbrella Academy.
Before this, at the end of episode 9, Reginald kills Luther (Tom Hopper) in an attempt to bring the family together. Later, Reginald stops Klaus (Robert Sheehan) from following the others into the tunnel to Oblivion, and the Kugelblitz swallows him up. The now-dead siblings meet up in the afterlife, and Luther tells Klaus how he died, but Klaus doesn’t know that Reginald killed him.
After Luther and Klaus died, everyone isn’t sure who they are and doesn’t trust each other. Reginald tells them that the bells are a symbol for a sigil, and they need to find the sigil to move on to the next step in resetting the universe. Diego (David Castaeda) and Lila (Ritu Arya) work together to try to find it. Five (Aidan Gallagher), Viktor (Elliot Page), and Alison (Emmy Raver-Lampman) also work together. Ben (Justin H. Min) and Sloane (Genesis Rodriguez) also work together. Reginald stays too long in the lobby of the hotel.
Each group meets a slightly different samurai. This alternate version of the hotel is not what it seems to be, and the group splits up when some of them end up in a different but identical version of the same hallway.
Five figures out that the sigil is made up of symbols on the floor of the lobby just as the last samurai crashes through the ceiling of the lobby and cuts off his arm. Seven of them have to stand on seven stars, but when Alison tries to join them, Reginald stops her. Klaus, Viktor, Sloane, Ben, Diego, and Lila take their places, and a powerful beam of light joins them. This beam of light kills the last samurai.
When the hotel facade comes off, it shows that they are in a machine in a different dimension. The seven are giving the machine that will reset the universe power with the particles in their bodies, but the process is killing them. Reginald is willing to give up this thing, but Alison is not. She attacks him, and on the machine’s control pad, she presses a big red button.
After the screen goes black, Alison gets out of a taxi. She opens the door to a house and goes upstairs, where she finds her sleeping daughter Claire. As she goes to check on her daughter, Ray (Yusuf Gatewood), the man she was married to in 1963, appears in the doorway wearing clothes from today.
The others step out of an elevator into the open air. A plaque tells them they are in the Obsidian Memorial Plaza, which Reginald Hargreeves gave to the city on October 1, 1989, the day the Umbrella and Sparrow Academies opened. In the middle of the plaza is a six-sided star with a bust of Reginald in the middle.
Luther is still alive, but he no longer has the body of an ape. Five’s arm and Diego’s fingers are back, but they no longer have any powers. Sloane isn’t there, though. They all go their separate ways, and Luther is determined to find Sloane. Reginald stands on top of a skyscraper, which is the headquarters of a company called Hargreeves Financial, with his dead wife Abigail, who is still alive.
