While they were still trying to find out who he was, the bomb went off. A road was destroyed. People were unaware that they were carrying explosives when they were recruited by unknown terrorists for $100 to assist them to conduct a traffic “study.” They didn’t know they had bombs until the authorities discovered them and dragged them out of the way. A terrorist attack was also part of their investigation.
Simone Clark, a former FBI agent, was in the car with him. Nolan depended on her knowledge since she was witty and had a greater understanding of the field than the professionals. They all ended up in one truck.
Explosives failed to go off when they were rammed. The location of the terrorist’s goal was highlighted by the second vehicle. Both Nolan and Simone were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of any injuries they may have sustained in the car accident.
