The Real Reason Behind Meena Jutla’s Exit On Emmerdale

Jane Hudson, who is in charge of Emmerdale, has explained why Meena Jutla won’t be part of the show’s 50th-anniversary celebrations. When Meena’s reign of terror finally ended in April, many fans thought she would come back for the ITV soap’s big birthday episodes.

Since then, though, there has been no news of a comeback, and Meena wasn’t mentioned when the show recently announced that it would be back for its 50th anniversary. Source asked Hudson in a recent conversation if the team had ever thought about bringing Meena back for the anniversary.

She said, “I think when you have a story that is as popular as Meena the serial killer, you have to know when to end it.” “We picked the best time possible, and Meena is now in jail.” Meena was found guilty of many crimes when she went to court earlier this year. She was sentenced to at least 75 years in prison.

Meena was shocked to find out that she would spend the rest of her life in jail, and what’s worse, she would lose the fame she’d had for so long. The actress who played Meena at the time, Paige Sandhu, said, “She’s finally gone down. How come?

“I just want to thank everyone for all their help. Thank you to everyone at Emmerdale and ITV, as well as to my lovely actors and the rest of the crew. “You guys are incredible. You’ve made this the best time of my life, and I’ll always remember it.

“And a big thank you, especially to Rebecca Sarker, who plays my sister on screen and is also like a sister to me in real life. I love you so much.”

In recent episodes of Emmerdale, the effects of Meena’s crimes have been looked at more. For example, Meena’s sister Manpreet talked about having nightmares because of what happened earlier in the year. Diane Sugden, Aaron Dingle, and Tracy Metcalfe will all come back to Emmerdale for a short time in October for the show’s 50th anniversary.
