The Orville’s Star Is Cast In Superman & Lois As The Season 3 Villain

Orville's Star

Chad L. Coleman, who starred in The Orville, has reportedly been cast in Superman & Lois as a significant antagonist for Season 3 of the CW series. Coleman will make an appearance as a significant antagonist in the upcoming season of “Arrow,” according to The Direct, which claims that David Ramsey, who portrays John Diggle on the network’s DC series and has also directed episodes of Superman & Lois, confirmed during the “Arrow Guests: Saving Star City” panel at DragonCon on Saturday. Ramsey did not reveal any precise plot specifics or which specific villain the actor will play.

It might not be too difficult for The CW series viewers to guess which villain Coleman is portraying. With one of the episode’s final moments showing John Henry Irons (Wole Parks) meeting Diggle at Smallville’s diner after they had previously interacted when ARGUS was involved in earlier events in the little town, the Season 2 finale set up for the series’ next major antagonist. John Henry was confronted by Diggle about Bruno Manheim, a specific person who is involved in a number of illicit acts, and he made the suggestion that Manheim might have been to blame for the death of this Earth’s John Henry, who had passed away inexplicably years earlier.

The most recent information about Superman & Lois is Coleman’s casting. When it was revealed last month that Jonathan Kent actor Jordan Elsass would not be returning to the show for Season 3, the actor was blamed for missing the deadline for reporting back to Vancouver, where the show is filmed. Later, Elsass revealed in a Cameo filmed for a fan that he is prioritizing his mental health and perhaps be quitting acting entirely.

Elsass remarked in the video, “It’s been a stressful few weeks, as you could imagine, with everything going on with the show. “It’s sad and truly unfortunate. I’m sure you can understand how excited I was for Season 3, but what are you going to do? In any case, mental health is always a top priority. It is the peak. It needs to come first. And mine has been difficult over the past few years.”

He went on, “I require some solitude. I’m still considering whether or not I should continue acting for a bit. I might take a different path. I am aware that will undoubtedly disappoint some people.”

The Jonathan Kent role will be recast, according to Warner Bros. Television, however, the actor who will play the part has not yet been revealed.

On The CW in 2023, Superman & Lois is anticipated to return for Season 3.
