The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 6 Recap

Warning Spoiler ahead

Annie does not pass judgement after discovering a drunk/hungover Cassie. Instead, she asks Cassie to start being honest about her drinking. When Benjamin appears, their talk comes to an end. As Cassie escapes silently, Annie distracts Benjamin to assist her. Cassie notices the man with the glass eye, Jim Jones, waiting close as she does so.

Cassie informs Davey about her recent struggles as she is obliged to visit her father’s grave with him. Meanwhile, Megan stalks Levi, her son. And it’s at this point that Megan discovers that Bill, her husband and Levi’s father, lost his job and had to sell the house because Megan fled the government.

Cassie pays a visit to her father’s grave and, while she blamed him for her drinking, she also forgives him. Meanwhile, while Annie and Max have a private conversation, the blonde doppelganger enters the house and plants “proof.”

Dot chastises Benjamin for not doing his job and suggests he seek counselling before reminding him to leave Cassie alone once more. While Shane pieces things together and concludes that Benjamin is looking for any evidence that Cassie, aka the blonde doppelganger, could be harmful.

Davey tricks Cassie and their mother, Lisa (Sharon Stone), into meeting face to face after visiting their father’s grave. Lisa reveals that she experienced a break-in not long ago, despite Cassie’s silence.

Lisa says that she doesn’t trust Cassie and that she doesn’t have the emotional space for her as tensions grow. Cassie apologises for being a naughty daughter and for stealing money from her purse in exchange. But Lisa isn’t angry because of what Cassie did as a youngster; she is angry because of what Cassie did as an adult.

And Lisa recalls Cassie forgetting about her after getting invited to see her. Not only that, but Cassie got a DUI and nearly set fire to the house. Lisa says that while she loved Cassie, she doesn’t like her, which is a final blow for Cassie. Then comes the unexpected slap we’ve all been anticipating. (In case you didn’t know, Cassie’s reaction was genuine because the slap was unplanned.)
