The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 14 Review

In the Blacklist Season 9 Episode 14, Herbie, Red’s medical consultant, emerged as a major role. Raymond and the Task Force were working on two unrelated cases at the same time.

This mission’s unexpected link was Sen. Panabaker, a former FBI protection for the Task Force. Cynthia’s visit to Reddington with her hat in hand had to be torture for her. Why didn’t she go to the Task Force to address her concerns? Harold and the rest of the gang owed her a lot.

However, this is not the case. Shiela, her daughter-in-law, had been kidnapped and tortured, and her mother-in-law was determined to find and punish those responsibly. Red, on the other hand, was going to have a greater grasp on that gloomy state of mind.

Raymond had to cope with his medical issue as he arrived to where she was coming from. The Task Force had to deal with Shiela’s strange issue once again.

Shiela ended up being the team’s finest witness, carving two women’s names into her thigh even though she was asleep. For some reason, they were able to track out Tiny Fighters Foundation, where they had been featured on their website before their kidnapping.

There is absolutely no rational basis for torturing selfless moms who care for sick children.

Fortunately, Eva Mason and Nurse Binstock, the women responsible for the kidnappings, were unable to leave Shiela’s bed vacant. This is why they decided to take up the case of Mary Sutton, who had been featured on the foundation’s website until lately.

Eva had to remove Mary from the hospital just as Ressler and Dembe arrived since Mary’s daughter, Sarah, had recently been hospitalized following a seizure. So Mary’s kidnapping was a bust.

Eva also left a drug injector behind as proof. And that’s where Herbie stepped in to help out. Weecha and Raymond had been trying to get hold of Herbie to assist them to solve a medical issue of their own, but he wasn’t picking up.

It turned out, however, to be nothing sinister. Just a new father who had to raise their daughter Sue on his own after his wife left him. And he didn’t know anything about it either.

Grandfather Red had a stroke. Sue quickly regained her composure and offered Herbie some of her hard-won experience. Watching Raymond sing and dance at the same time was a hoot.

Herbie quickly discovered the maker of the injector and a suspected local customer, which provided the Task Force with all the information they needed to shut down Eva’s operation.

When Binstock brandished a scalpel at Ressler, they had someone to question. Binstock, a zealot, refused to speak. Teddy, Reddington’s interrogator, was hired instead by Panabaker because he was desperate to achieve results.

Teddy’s revelation that the kidnapped mothers were not saints shattered the case. Infected with Munchausen by proxy, they inflicted their children with illness and kept them in that state.

Panabaker couldn’t believe Shiela would do such a thing until she reflected on Shiela’s previous actions. Listening to her and Raymond’s philosophical discussion about having to make difficult decisions was enlightening. Before this, how could a politician have remained on the right side of the law?

In this situation, the Task Force was confronted by two bad guys: Mason and Sutton, the woman Mason was after. Thanks to Dembe’s exact accuracy, the squad arrived just in time to take part in a heated shootout that saw both Mason and Sarah brandishing guns.

While Shiela was being detained by the FBI, Panabaker decided to take her granddaughter out to dinner so she wouldn’t be alone. Panabaker’s moral flexibility may be enhanced by this experience. Having a friend in high places who can help the Task Force bend the rules, even more, would be advantageous.

Liz’s body contained a tracker, which was the focus of Reddington’s operation. His tech guru discovered that the device was not only a GPS tracker but apparently a medicine dosing meter as well.

Why should you worry about the medications Liz was taking, you could ask? She didn’t know she was getting dosed. Or was the GPS function of the device the only one being used?

Another episode will answer these questions. To understand how the tracker entered Liz, Red is still working on it. If Herbie could point him in the right direction, at least he would know that a hospital in Boston was using these experimental tracking devices.

What a great job Weecha and Red did in snatching up the perfect doctor from the hospital. As a result of privacy-rights concerns, the trackers were never used during this visit.

In the end, it was revealed that the man behind the tracker was Andrew Dennison, the graduate student Harold’s blackmailer wants “disappeared.”

There must be some sort of relationship between Liz’s body tracker and Harold’s blackmailer. He doesn’t want Raymond to find out that the blackmailer was somehow involved in the murder of Liz.
