According to professional dancers Giovanni Pernice and Amy Dowden, Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals have begun.

After taking some time to rest and recover over the weekend, Giovanni shared a photo of himself exiting a spa with the message, “Recharged to start @bbcstrictly tomorrow.”

As she prepared to travel to London to begin Strictly, Amy informed supporters that she had been “a little bit unwell” with Crohn’s disease but was feeling much better after getting some rest.

The most recent instance of the dancer’s open discussion of her ongoing bowel disease was in the BBC One program Crohn’s and Me.

I apologize for being a little quiet lately, Amy addressed her fans. “Unfortunately, I’ve developed a minor illness related to my Crohn’s disease; it’s nothing serious; I’m just a little bit sick and in pain.

I’ve been taking it easy since I have a truly honorable nomination to run with the baton for the Commonwealth Games this afternoon. I’m going to do it this afternoon, and then I’m going to London because tomorrow is the first day of Strictly, and I’m very excited about it. I had to take it easy in order for me to recover. Year 6 is about to begin, eeekkk @bbcstrictly.
