It wasn’t long ago that rumors began to circulate that the popular series was in talks to be turned into an anime. We have also received confirmation that the show is already in progress as of today.

This new series is already generating a lot of positive buzz on the internet, and with Feel overseeing its production, fans have every reason to be optimistic about what is to come. Consequently, if you want to learn more about the manga, you can read its official synopsis, which is provided below:

Spy Classroom Anime Release Date

It was announced at the recently concluded Fantasia Bunko Online Festival 2022 that Spy Classroom, a popular light novel, will be adapted into an anime. A teaser trailer for the film was released on YouTube shortly after the announcement was made public.

Spy Classroom is published by the light novel publishing behemoth Yen Press, and so far there have been six volumes published, as well as two short story volumes in addition to the main series.

With a success rate of 100 percent, Klaus, the show’s protagonist, has yet to encounter a mission that he has not successfully completed. The question is, what happens when Klaus takes a group of teenage girls, who have always been looked down upon as spies, and assigns him the task of molding them into the most perfect spies imaginable?

A colorful cast of characters, each with a unique ability and gimmick to go along with their skills as a skilled spy, the anime is shaping up to be an absolute must-watch for any fans of Spy Family or Assassination Classroom, among other shows and films.

Spy Classroom Anime Cast

Clover Works and Wit Studio have announced that the Spy x Family anime will be released in 2022, at a time to be determined. The anime will be broadcast in two parts, or “cours,” on Japanese television stations such as Tokyo TV, among others. Also revealed were the voice actors for Anya and Yor, as well as a new teaser trailer featuring each character’s respective voice actor. [Many thanks to Famitsu for this!]

The announcement was made at this year’s Jump Festa 22, where the two companies were in attendance. Anya will be played by Atsumi Tanezaki, who currently appears as Emporio in the latest season of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Yor Forger will be voiced by Saori Hayami, who previously voiced Ayaka Kamisato in Genshin Impact, and Shinobu Kocho in Demon Slayer. Both voice actors have also appeared in a variety of other anime and video games, including Fire Emblem Heroes and Fate/Grand Order, among other things.

Spy Classroom Anime Plot

In a world where light novel adaptations such as KonoSuba and Re:Zero are crushing it in the anime sphere despite the fact that they are light novels, it is difficult to recall a light novel adaptation that had severely disappointed fans of both the anime and the light novel.

However, despite the fact that we cannot recall a major disaster, it is a fact that light novel enthusiasts do not get along with manga or anime fans. It is a form of otaku culture that is based on reading through 50,000 words or more and is primarily targeted at teenagers who attend middle and high school, but it can be enjoyed by anyone.

This is a major reason why the most popular light novels, such as Spice and Wolf, contain little to no action and instead place a strong emphasis on the characters’ journey through the novel. Spy Classroom is another novel in this genre that focuses on the lives and interactions of the various spies that we meet throughout the novel.

The spy novels and heist novels of the 1980s and 1990s, which were popular in the Japanese market at the time, serve as inspiration for the light novel.

When Spy Classroom debuts on the popular anime streaming website Crunchyroll, it will be a sight to behold.
