With Season 7 coming to an end, Rocket League is ready to move on to the next chapter. Season 8 is quickly approaching, and it will include a new turf Arena, exciting new events, and a brand new Rocket Pass that includes the real-world Honda Civic Type R vehicle.

Rocket League Season 8

Season 8 will begin on Wednesday, September 7, according to the Rocket League website. Those who purchase the Rocket Pass Premium will immediately gain access to the new Honda Civic Type R, which is based on the real-world counterpart. Leveling up will eventually unlock the upgraded Honda Civic Type R-LE. The Season 8 landing page has more information about what’s coming to Rocket League.

A new Arena is another addition to Season 8. The Sovereign Heights Arena is a turf venue. During the season, the annual Haunted Hallows event is also planned. More information will be available as the holiday approaches.

The Honda Civic Type-R is not the first of its kind to be added. Over the years, Rocket League has added a slew of real-world vehicles, including those from BMW, Lamborghini, and even NASCAR and Formula 1. The Ferrari 296GTB was made available to all players earlier this week. However, it is one of the first times a consumer Honda vehicle has been included in the Rocket League lineup, which should be exciting for Honda owners.

The Ferrari 296 GTB is featured in the latest Rocket League car bundle. The Ferrari sports car can be purchased by players until September 6, the day before Season 8 begins. The Honda Civic Type R will be featured in Rocket League Season 8 on September 7.

We’ll keep an eye out for exciting Rocket League additions throughout Season 8. For the time being, be sure to visit our Rocket League topic page for the most recent news and guides.
