“Platinum End” ending explained: In brief

Our remaining God Candidates seem happy, at least from what we can tell about their demeanor. Shuji, on the other hand, observes that despite their joy, a number of people are taking their own lives every day. What can he do to help? He inquires of the angels. He’s told to do nothing by his superiors. He even tries to chat to Nasse, but he doesn’t get any responses from her. For him, it’s easy to observe how different people are from one another since he’s seeing through the eyes of God. He realizes that God’s primary goal was the creation of life and that after that, he stepped away from the world and left it up to us. There is nothing that God has to do. Death will come to those who want it. As a result, he believes that God’s existence is meaningless.

Asks the guarding angel to summon the other guardians. God takes his own life the moment she turns around. The world fades away when God dies. One by one, the angels vanish, and with them, the arrow carrying Professor Yoneda. The garments they were wearing are all that is left of the human race when they all vanish one by one.

Rating & Reviews of the Platinum End:

Platinum End has 6.2/10 IMDb ratings.

The plot of Platinum End leaves you with a nagging need to find out what happens in the following chapter. The viewpoint of the reader is one of the story’s most excellent features. All of the characters had no idea what was going on. Only those in the reader’s shoes could make sense of what was going on and why. Readers become as much a character in the novel as the main characters.
