Kingdom Season 5 Release Date

Kingdom Season 5 will air on NHK General TV in Japan on January 6, 2024, according to the anime’s official website. Crunchyroll, which has licensed the series for foreign distribution, will also broadcast the anime. The anime will stream weekly episodes in the same format as previous seasons.

Kingdom Season 5 will feature the return of most of the main and supporting voice actors from previous seasons, as well as some new additions. The cast includes:

Kingdom Season 5 Plot

Kingdom Season 5’s plot will be based on the events of the Koku You Campaign arc, which spans chapters 441 to 499 of the manga.

The story revolves around the fight between the forces of Qin and Zhao for control of the Koku You region, a key location that connects the two realms.

Fighting against the Zhao troops under the command of Li Mu, Ryuu Tou, Kei Sha, and Ki Sui will be the Hi Shin Unit, Kan Ki Army, Ou Sen Army, and Mou Gou Army. The arc will also investigate the protagonists’ personal and political problems, as well as the history and culture of the fighting republics.
