I’m well-known. A new series called 2022 is coming to ITV, and the pandemic has just caused some significant format modifications. Due to travel limitations, the camp has changed during the last two seasons, moving to Gwrych Castle in Wales.
As a result, we witnessed the coronation of a King and Queen of the Castle in the new setting, with former Emmerdale actor Danny Miller and author and podcast host Giovanna Fletcher winning the 2020 and 2021 competitions, respectively.
I’m a celebrity, though. The year 2022 is going to be unusual because it’s going to be the series’ first time back in Australia. In light of that, here is what we currently know.
I’m a Celebrity Series 22 Renewed or Not
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Series 22 officially renewed for 2022.
In its first year back, the programme broadcast live from the castle on ITV every evening in the months of November and December. However, ITV is now optimistic that the show will actually return to Australia in 2022.

I’m a Celebrity Series 22 Premiere Date
I’m A Celebrity 2022 has not yet received a release date. Following a similar timetable to many years ago, the 2021 series debuted in early November. Therefore, it is possible that the new season will debut at the same time.
I’m a Celebrity Series 22 Host
In the absence of a huge shock, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will return as the show’s faces. Take Me Away From Here!
The Geordie team has hosted every season of the show except one, with Ant missing the 2018 season due to personal obligations and Holly Willoughby filling in.
However, Dec and his longtime presenting partner were reconciled in 2019, and there are currently no indications that the relationship would break off any time soon.

I’m a Celebrity Series 22 Filming Location
That’s a big question, to be sure! I’m A Celebrity, which spent its first 19 seasons filming in the Australian jungle, has undergone a somewhat drastic makeover in the past two years as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, moving to Gwrych Castle in North Wales.
It is unclear whether the event will return to its usual location in 2022 or whether it will remain in the UK for an additional year. For the time being, the show’s producers are keeping their future intentions under wraps.
It seems likely that that will be the objective for 2022 because the original plan had been for the show to return to Australia this year; however, since the pandemic’s long-term effects are still unknown, it’s still too early to say for sure.
When new I’m A Celebrity 2022 location information becomes available, we’ll post it here.
Who Won I’m A Celebrity Series 21
Frankie Bridge, Simon Gregson, and Danny Miller competed in the I’m A Celebrity 2021 final, which followed the elimination of eight well-known contestants and Richard Madely following a brief hospitalisation.
Finally, Danny Miller’s status as the King of the Castle was established—a first for the ITV series.
