Guilt Season 1 Recap
On August 22, 2016, the jaw-dropping season finale of Freeform’s new mystery thriller series Guilt finished its first chapter. The final episode revealed Molly’s killer’s identity. Despite the heavy hints in prior seasons that it was Prince Theo, it came out that Luc was responsible for the heartbreaking murder, and Roz really blackmailed him into it.
Grace confronts her roommate Roz when she discovers what has occurred and kills her in the heat of the moment. If Freeform decides to renew the show for a second season, there is plenty of room for the plot to advance. The choice has not yet been decided, but the supporters are desperate for further information.
After the series premiere (0.49 million viewers), viewership declined, remained quite low, and ended with an audience of 0.4 million viewers. Stay tuned, and we will be sure to keep you updated on the future of the show.

Reviews And Possible Renewals
Guilt has mixed with positive reviews. It has a score of 5.8/10 on IMDb and a score of 60% on Rotten Tomatoes. It had 490,000 people watch the first episode, but only 330,000 for the next two. Most critics say that even though the dialogue is weak, the actions are unrealistic, and the plot is too complicated, the show is still entertaining. At this point, it doesn’t look likely that the show will be renewed, but we won’t know for sure until Freeform makes a decision. Stay tuned, and we’ll be sure to let you know what’s going on.
Latest News:
The network Freeform announced that there will not be a second season of the show Guilt. The decision to cancel the show was probably based on the lackluster ratings, with an average of about 300,000 viewers per episode for most of the first season.
The end of season one left viewers with a lot of cliffhangers that fans will have to figure out on their own. It showed who the killer was, but also set up a possible next season, which won’t happen, unfortunately.
