The Ghost, one of the most well-known rock and metal bands, have kept their names mostly a secret over the years with the help of masks, makeup, and a cunning dedication to concealment. Four band members signed a statement condemning Forge in 2017, which was submitted to the court. The declaration stated unpaid wages in the amount of 22,000 dollars.

Dewdrop disclosed in a Facebook post that from 2011 to 2016, workers were not paid. Find out more by continuing on!

Ghost

Heavy metal outfit Ghost was founded in Linköping, Sweden, in 2006. They released a three-track demo in 2010, then “Elizabeth” and Opus Eponymous, their debut studio record. They got a lot of positive reviews for their Grammy-nominated album, which also helped them win over a lot of new fans. Their second record, Infestissumam, which was also their first for a major label, debuted at number one in Sweden and won the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Album. The group’s third studio album, Meliora, was published in 2015 to solid record sales and widespread critical acclaim. It peaked at number one in Sweden and number eight in the US. In 2016, “Cirice,” the album’s main single, helped them win the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance.

Ghost’s Members

The Nameless Ghouls are the members of Ghost. They operate under the name “Nameless Ghouls” in order to avoid being recognised. There are presently eight Ghouls who play every instrument when the band performs live with the front man. Three feminine Ghouls, also known as Ghoulettes or Ghulehs, are present. The face-masking outfits worn by the Ghouls are essentially similar and change with each album era.

Stage Name Other Names Role
Fire Alpha, Stompy, Dewdrop Lead guitarist
Water Rain Bassist
Air Cumulus Keyboardist and backing vocals
Earth Mountain Drummer
Aether Omega or Quintessence Rhythm
Multighoul (Male) Multighoul, Shadow and/or Swiss Army Ghoul guitarist, tambourine, backing vocals, saxophonist (as Papa Nihil ) and more
Multighoul (female) Cirrus Multighoul (female) (Now known as Cirrus) – keyboardist, tambourine, backing vocals, keytar
Multighoul (female) Infinity since 8 turned sideways is ∞ or Sunshine to go against the two current female ghouls Tambourine, keyboards, backing vocals

Two brand-new Ghouls called The Multighouls made their stage premiere at The Roxy as a part of the Rats On The Strip show. They participate in the performance as backup vocalists and appreciate a variety of instruments. In the course of the live performance of “Miasma,” the male Multighoul plays the clarinet while clad in Papa Nihil’s attire.

The third multighoul, who also happens to be the third ghoulette, was introduced at the Reno, Nevada stop of the 2022 Impera tour. She made her debut while playing a tambourine and singing in the backdrop on her own small platform (similar to the other multighoul). It is proposed that she take over some of the keyboard responsibilities during the keytar solo that the other ghoulette plays during Mummy Dust.

The band’s leader, known as “Papa Emeritus,” who wears a prosthetic mask made of skull face paint and resembles a “demonic anti-Pope,” is its most recognisable performer.

The band’s appearance has changed as a consequence of each record cycle. Even though the vocalist is almost always portrayed as the same iconic figure, there have been some slight aesthetic and even behavioural changes over the years.

Nameless Ghouls’ Lawsuit

Just a few months prior, four former Nameless Ghouls brought a lawsuit against Forge for $22,000 in unpaid pay. According to Söderberg, the four monsters are:

Real Name Stage Names Plays Joining Year
Simon Söderberg Alpha, Stompy, Dewdrop Guitars since 2010
Mauro Rubino Air, Cumulus Keyboards since 2011
Henrik Palm Ether Guitar since 2015
Martin Hjertstedt Earth, Mountain Drums since 2014

The total amount of Nameless Ghouls now known to exist is five. The group’s former guitarist Martin Persner was the first to formally announce his departure, saying he had left the group in July 2016 and would now focus on his other band, Magna Carta Cartel.

Söderberg’s Facebook post about Ghost isn’t viewable by the general public, but a person who knows the musician was able to screenshot the text.

It appears that former colleagues are suing Ghost frontman Papa Emeritus (Tobias Forge). According to a story, four of Ghost’s former ghouls attempt to blackmail Forge into paying them $22,000.

There have been rumors of Ghost lineup alterations for the majority of 2017.

Corren claims that Forge’s partnership agreement with Ghost stated that he would be in control of the “company’s operations” and the band’s management. Forge is being held responsible for alleged unpaid income to four Ghost members between 2011 and 2016 because it is allegedly his responsibility.

Dewdrop Ghoul’s Face Reveal

The Ghost ensemble has a member named Dewdrop Ghoul. He has been a crucial part of the team since 2010. He performs as the primary guitarist.

The face of Dewdrop Ghoul was unusually exposed. The Swedish band made their identities known when they taped a statement against Tobias Forge, its lead singer.

Dewdrop Simon Theft’s identity as Ghoul, also known as Fireplace or Alpha, was made public. His age is still an unsolved riddle.

He said that Martin Hjertstedt is Earth, Henrik Palm is Ether, and Mauro Rubino is Air.

People are genuinely interested and rarely seen supporting one another’s musical endeavors. Sara Matak, whom Dewdrop refers to as Moshi, is his girlfriend.

The band’s former guitarist Martin Persner was the first to formally announce his departure, saying he had left the group in July 2016 and would now focus on his other group, Magna Carta Cartel.

Martin Persner, the musician in the issue, admits he spent seven years in the group. “Hello, my name is Martin, and I’ve been a member of the rock band Ghost for seven years,” says Persner in the clip above. Some of you know me as Omega, Quintessence, a Nameless Monster, or even just an f—king a—hole. As some of you may have observed, I’ve been out of Ghost since July of last year (2016).

Appearance (Era 5, current era)

The most common way to identify Sodo is by his arctic white Fender Stratocaster. The guitar has a very light cream body and a white pickguard, but because of the lighting used during concerts, it appears the instrument is entirely white. The guitar’s head and body are made of light-colored wood. You might be able to make out 1-3 of his personalized white guitar picks if you look closely at the lower right of the guitar body. Sodo is the only ghoul who plays a Stratocaster electric guitar and has a totally white instrument. This is due to the fact that the guitar that matched Aether was too heavy for him to hold and transport. Rain, a different ghoul who plays an instrument with a similar shape and color, is wrongly confused with Sodo. Bassist Rain is in the group. The primary distinction between the two ghouls’ instruments is that Rain’s bass guitar has only four strings and is white with a black pickguard, while Sodo’s guitar has six strings and is entirely white.

However, the main distinction between each ghoul is that they all put their instruments away at the conclusion of the performance. This issue also arises with non-concert media, such as art, photographs, and other related forms of media. Fortunately, other minor distinctions, like their headgear, can be made. Each and every Nameless Ghoul sports a unique steampunk headpiece and Victorian-style clothing. The material on the upper sides of the masks, which are a different form or style for each ghoul, is what makes these helmets unique. Only two of the ghouls, including Sodo, have horns that are distinct in color from the other ghouls. This is another difference. Sodo’s different material form on the helmet is a long, curved triangle with a notch where the tip of the triangle would be. He also has white horns instead of the typical black ones. This is a very slight variation that is frequently very challenging to see. Sodo’s arms are a key feature; while his typical long-sleeved ghoul costume is typically rolled up to his upper arm, he often wears tight black sleeves down to his wrist to conceal tattoos.

The only zombie without any facial hair is Sodo. Rain is the only ghoul with their mouths open; the rest are backup vocalists. The only ghouls without vocals are Rain, Mountain, and Sodo; however, Rain’s nose is apparent, and Mountain has no covering at all. To put it briefly, Sodo is the only ghoul with a fully covered face. His brash demeanor can also distinguish Sodo. Comparatively speaking, Sodo is by far the most self-assured and sociable zombie.

Era 4 History

At the end of 2016, Sodo joined the group as the replacement bassist following the court case with the ex-ghouls. After lead guitarist Ifrit left the band, Sodo assumed the lead guitar position and the name Fire, but ultimately his fans started referring to him as Dewdrop. The Nameless Ghouls’ attire underwent a minor change during the Prequelle era (era 4). The prior ghouls changed from wearing dull grey demon masks to wearing nearly identical demon masks, but this time they were shiny and the area by their mouths was cut out to support the backup singers. The only difference between the ghoulettes’ and the ghouls’ masks was the lengthier hair. Sodo would frequently thrust his tongue out during this time period. He would lick the picks before throwing them into the throng. His instrument has also been licked by him numerous times. Like in the present, Sodo covered tattoos by draping his arms down.

He also used a new guitar in Era 4. Since both of the instruments are black and white, it is believed that this guitar is Rain’s black and white bass. Hagström Fantomen guitar that was specially built in collaboration with Ghost. Aether’s entirely black Fantomen, which he still plays today, and Sodo’s black and white Fantomen were the two custom guitars.
