It’s almost time for a new season of Dancing With the Stars to fill our fall TV nights. The reality competition show’s 31st season has a new co-host in the ballroom and a few other changes. But how to watch it might be the biggest change. The long-running show Dancing with the Stars is moving from ABC to Disney+ this fall. It will be the first live show on the streaming service.

Also, DWTS will skip its usual commercial breaks and stream Season 31 without any ads. This is a big change for the show, since dancers and crew usually use the breaks to change clothes, set up scenes, and other things. How will they set up the dances’ fancy backgrounds? When will all the confetti and glitter on the stage be cleaned up? How will Tyra have time to change into all of her wigs, headpieces, and dresses that look like mirrorballs? We have so many questions.

Some questions won’t be answered until the season starts, but here’s what we do know about Season 31 so far.

This season will have a new co-host for Dancing With the Stars. In addition to Tyra Banks, Alfonso Ribeiro (who won Season 19 with pro-Witney Carson) will also be on the mic. In a stage designed for a hosting duet, Tyra has hosted the competition by herself for the last two seasons.

Tyra may have more time to run to the top of the stairs for interviews or to make those complex costume changes even without commercial breaks if another host is present to share the burden. The judges are also returning, including Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough.

Among this season’s professionals will be Cheryl Burke, Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Brandon Armstrong, Daniella Karagach, and Pasha Pashkov, among others to be named. Lindsay Arnold and Sharna Burgess have indicated they will not be returning for the upcoming season.

As for contestants, official announcements of the cast will be made on September 8. In Season 31, we cannot wait to see which new stars will reveal their hidden rhythmic talents (or lack thereof).

TikTok star Charli D’Amelio and her mother, Heidi, are rumored to be among the cast members of Season 31, according to rumors. RHOBH cast member Sutton Stracke and Robert Irwin, the son of the late crocodile hunter Steve Irwin, have also been mentioned. In 2015, Robert’s sister Bindi Irwin won DWTS Season 21. However, no participants have yet been confirmed. Next week, ABC will announce the list.

Where To Watch Dancing With The Stars Season 31

The DWTS seasons 31 and 32 will be shown live on Disney+. The show usually comes on at 8/7c, and as far as we know, nothing is going to change that. You can’t stream old seasons at the moment.
