The premiere of Cruel Summer Season 2 has been confirmed for 2022. Cruel Summer has yet to receive an official release date, which is unfortunate. However, shortly after the Season 1 conclusion, the show’s Twitter feed revealed that it has been renewed for a second season. It was announced in a tweet by the network’s administrative team that Cruel Summer would return on Freeform and Hulu “sometime in 2022.”

Cruel Summer Season 2 Expected Cast

Along with the big reveal of the new season, Freeform also revealed the new season 2 cast members. Megan will be played by Sadie Stanley, who performed Kim Possible in the live-action film “a computer programmer and honor student from a working-class family

Megan begins to live for the moment and accept her true self after meeting Isabella. When events take a tragic turn, her long-held dreams are dashed, leaving her to wonder who she can trust.”

Eloise Payet, a newcomer, will take the stage “Isabella, the alluring and enigmatic daughter of foreign diplomats, is an exchange student with the Landry family for a year.

She quickly wobbles up life in this small town, but her charm cannot conceal the truth about her past or the true reason she came to live with the Landrys for the rest of her life.”

Griffin Gluck, who starred in Locke and Key, will play Luke Chambers “Megan’s long-time best friend from a wealthy family. Luke eventually finds himself at a crossroads as he attempts to carve out his own place in the world apart from his powerful father’s expectations.”

KaDee Strickland (Private Practice), Lisa Yamada (All American), Sean Blakemore (Greenleaf), and Paul Adelstein are among the newly announced cast members (True Story).
