The Chainsaw Man manga series, written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, is getting an anime adaptation from MAPPA, which will premiere on Crunchyroll on October 11, 2022.
Crunchyroll has revealed the English dub cast for the highly anticipated anime series Chainsaw Man, which will be available on its streaming service on October 11.
Crunchyroll will stream the series from Japan, subtitled and dubbed, in over 200 countries and territories worldwide.
The English dub cast of “Chainsaw Man,” directed by Mike McFarland (Attack on Titan; Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), includes:
Denji’s English voice actor is Ryan Colt Levy (My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission; Moriarty the Patriot).
Suzie Yeung (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba; Wonder Egg Priority) – Makima’s English voice.
Reagan Murdock (Don’t Hurt Me, My Healer! ; Dragon Ball Super) – Aki’s English voice
Sarah Wiedenheft (Black Clover, Dr. STONE, Dragon Ball Super) – Power’s English voice.
The English dub of “Chainsaw Man” will premiere on Friday, October 7 at New York Comic Con. Crunchyroll will begin airing the English SimulDubTM at a later date.
Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German dubs will also be available, with casts to be announced at a later date.

The anime will have 12 ending theme songs, one for each episode. The songs and performers include:

On October 11, the anime will launch on TV Tokyo and five additional associated stations, as well as on Amazon Prime Video. On Monday, the animation had its international debut at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills.
Crunchyroll will show the US debut on October 7 at 12:45 p.m. EDT at New York Comic-Con. At the event, Crunchyroll will premiere the English dub ahead of the subtitled release.

Crunchyroll explains the plot as follows:
Denji is a teen who lives with Pochita, a Chainsaw Devil. Due to his father’s debt, he has been living in squalor while repaying his obligation by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.
Denji is betrayed and killed one day. As his consciousness departs, he enters into a deal with Pochita and is resurrected as “Chainsaw Man,” a man with the heart of the devil.
At MAPPA, the animation is directed by Ry Nakayama (Black Clover, Jujutsu Kaisen episode director), and the scripts are written by Hiroshi Seko (Ajin, Attack on Titan The Final Season). The characters are designed by Kazutaka Sugiyama (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation), while the action is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara (Black Clover, Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls). The chief technical director is Makoto Nakazono (DARLING in the FRANXX, Little Witch Academia). The devils are designed by Kiyotaka Oshiyama (DEVILMAN crybaby, Space Dandy), while the art is directed by Yusuke Takeda (Eden of the East, Vinland Saga). The color key artist is Naomi Nakano, and the displays are designed by Yohei Miyahara. The soundtrack is being composed by Kensuke Ushio (DEVILMAN crybaby, Liz, and the Blue Bird, A Silent Voice).
Fujimoto’s (Fire Punch’s) Chainsaw Man manga premiered in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018 and concluded its “first portion,” the “Kan” (Public Safety) arc, in December 2020. On July 13, the manga’s second installment, named “Gakk-hen” (School Arc), debuted on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service.
