What Will Happen in Better Call Saul’s Final Season?

According to the official AMC storyline synopsis, the show is about: “This season of Better Call Saul brings to a close the tortuous journey and transition of the show’s conflicted hero, Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), into criminal lawyer Saul Goodman (Jason Clarke).

Season six follows Jimmy, Saul, and Gene as they travel from the cartel to the courthouse and from Albuquerque to Omaha. It also follows Jimmy’s complicated relationship with Kim (Rhea Seehorn), who is going through her own existential crisis at the time.

Meanwhile, Mike (Jonathan Banks), Gus (Giancarlo Esposito), Nacho (Michael Mando), and Lalo (Tony Dalton) are enmeshed in a deadly game of cat and mouse with the lives of their friends on the line.”

Of course, the most frequently asked question by Breaking Bad fans is what will happen to Kim; after all, she does not appear in the show.

In a Deadline interview published in 2020, showrunner Peter Gould warned that things will not go well for the character in question. He stated, “I’m not going to lie, I’m not going to lie.” “Toward the end of the season, it’s a question of where she’s at in terms of mental health. Is she making a mistake by continuing down this path? … I’m a little concerned about her well-being.”

During another interview with the same publication, Odenkirk stated, “I can’t wait for the fireworks, honestly… towards the end, it gets very unbelievably explosive.”

Meanwhile, Mike the Cleaner (Jonathan Banks) declares in the trailer: “It’s not going to go down the way you think it is.”
