A Quiet Place 3 Release Date: Postponed To September 2023

A Quiet Place Part III has been pushed back to late 2023 as part of a broader announcement of new movie delays.

The Office star John Krasinski’s horror franchise debuted on April 6th, 2018, to generally positive reviews, and has since gone on to become a mainstay of the current blockbuster horror climate. A Quiet Place, based on the premise that aliens hunt by sound, was a huge box office hit thanks to its innovative use of sound design and its gripping storey of survival.

The sequel to A Quiet Place opened in theatres on May 28, 2021, keeping with the series’ tradition of a late spring release. Evelyn (Emily Blunt), Regan (Millicent Simmonds), and Marcus (Noah Jupe) Abbott’s storey was picked up right where the previous film left off, with a cliffhanger ending (Krasinski). A new family protector, Cillian Murphy’s Emmett, joined the cast.

When it came to pandemic-era movies, A Quiet Place Part II sold the most tickets despite the fact that it made less money at the box office than the original. The original release date for the franchise’s third instalment was March 31, 2023, but that is no longer true.

A Quiet Place Part III will be released on September 22, 2023, according to a new announcement from Paramount. The film’s original release date has been pushed back by nearly five months as a result of the delay, but it is not the only Paramount project to be affected. Blazing Samurai, an untitled Transformers animation and Mission: Impossible 7 and 8 will all be delayed by the studio (the last two by almost a full year each).

Cast of A Quiet Place 3: Who will return for the third instalment?

Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe will all reprise their roles in A Quiet Place Part III, despite a few near misses in A Quiet Place Part II.

Simmonds told Digital Spy that she would “It would be an honour for me to appear in a third film or even in the spin-off movie. This is a place where I’d love to return.”

It was Cillian Murphy’s Emmett, played by Murphy, who was the biggest newcomer in the sequel. Regan looks to him for guidance and support in the sequel’s battle against the aliens, so we can assume he’ll be back.

It’s unlikely we’ll ever see Djimon Hounou’s Man On Island again, as he was brutally attacked and never given an actual name.

John Krasinski’s return as Lee Abbott can’t be ruled out, however. During the apocalypse’s startling cold open, we see him, and flashbacks of him could be seen in the sequel.

The Abbotts could make an appearance in the spin-off film, but as previously stated, the cast could be completely different.

Trailer for A Quiet Place 3: Is there any new footage of the upcoming sequel?

The filming hasn’t started yet, so we won’t be getting any footage for a while, which is a bummer.
