TLC’s long-distance romance reality show is still going strong. Each season, 90 Day Fiancé follows an international couple as they meet and apply for a K-1 visa, which allows an engaged spouse of a US resident to enter the country. However, there is a significant decision to be made in the 90 days following that application: the pair must determine whether they truly want to marry or not. If they break up during that time period — whether due to cultural differences or stressful family dynamics — the fiancé will be returned to their home country.
