Tahliah Debrett Barnett (born 17 January 1988) stylized as FKA twigs is an English singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, video director, and actor. She began her career as a backup dancer after going to South London at the age of 17. Her musical career began with the extended play EP1 (2012).
In 2014, she released her first studio album, LP1, which topped the charts 16 on the UK Albums Chart and number 30 on the US Billboard 200. It was subsequently shortlisted for the 2014 Mercury Prize. In 2015, she released the M3LL155X EP.
After a four-year break, she returned in 2019 with her sophomore studio album Magdalene. In 2022, she signed with Atlantic Records and released the mixtape Caprisongs. Her career has gained extensive critical praise, and her music has been called “genre-bending,” including elements of electronic music, trip-hop, R&B, and avant-garde.

Matt Healy is the boyfriend of FKA Twigs. Matthew Healy (born 8 April 1989) is the Manchester rock band The 1975’s main vocalist and rhythm guitarist. Healy was raised in Newcastle and Cheshire, the son of performers Denise Welch and Tim Healy.
He met Ross MacDonald, Adam Hann, and George Daniel in 2002 at Wilmslow High School in Wilmslow; they performed together as teens before creating a band.
