Niall Horan stated in Episode 14 on a Zoom call to his crew that he will be leaving The Voice Season 24 due to his performance schedule.
He stated that he would be unavailable for the knockout rehearsals and that he had picked another coach to teach his team. He disclosed that it was not one, but two coaches: Dan + Shay, the Grammy-winning country combo with whom he has previously partnered.
Niall Horan revealed that from May to September 2023, he had to perform at 12 music festivals, including the Boston Calling Festival, Lollapalooza Paris, and Summer Sonic Tokyo. He also stated that he was planning for The Show: Live on Tour, which would begin in February 2024 and end in September 2024.
