Lisa Marie Presley grew up in the spotlight, and she dated a number of famous people over the course of her life.
Before she died on January 12, 2023, at age 54, Elvis Presley’s daughter was married four times. In a statement, Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley, said, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.”
Priscilla went on to say that her daughter was “the most passionate, strong, and loving woman I have ever known.”
Here’s a look back at the people Lisa Marie Presley married in the past.
Lisa Marie Presley Married 4 Times
Lisa Marie Presley became a favourite of the media because she was the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. But as a good singer and songwriter, she made a place for herself in the music business.
1. Lisa Marie Presley And Danny Keough
In 1988, Presley married actor and musician Danny Keough for the first time. She and Keough had been dating since she was in her teens. They got married when she turned 20, and their daughter, Danielle Riley Keough, was born soon after, in May 1989.
Their second child, a son named Benjamin Storm Keough, was born in 1992. He committed suicide in 2020. Lisa and Danny split up in May 1994, and even though some people thought they might get back together, they didn’t. But they were still close to each other, it was said.
In the summer of 1994, not long after her divorce from Danny, Lisa Marie married famous musician Michael Jackson. They married in secret in the Dominican Republic, and Lisa Marie later said, “My married name is Mrs. Lisa Marie Presley-Jackson,” to confirm the rumors.
She said, “I love Michael a lot, and I want to spend my whole life with him.” I understand and support him. “We’re both excited to start a family.”
Lisa Marie first met Jackson almost 20 years ago at a Las Vegas concert for her late father. She was only 7 years old at the time, and Jackson was still in the Jackson 5 and hadn’t started his solo career yet.
Four months after their private wedding, the King of Pop and Lisa Marie made their first public appearance as husband and wife at the MTV Video Music Awards, where they kissed for the first time as a married couple. Jackson said at the time, “Just think, nobody thought this would last.”
After two years of marriage, Lisa Marie filed for divorce in 1996. Jackson went on to marry Debbie Rowe and have his own three children before he died in 2009.
