Grant Michael Troutt, a former contestant on The Bachelor, proposed to her on the beach on July 31 to become engaged. Grant is pictured getting down on one knee in a blue suit while surrounded by white candles on the beach in pictures of the important moment uploaded to Instagram.
“You were worth the wait,” Madison, who was dressed in a white gown for the occasion, captioned the Aug. 1 image.
According to Us Weekly, Madison and Grant, the son of Excel Communications founder Kenny Troutt and a former basketball player for UC Santa Barbara, became Instagram friends back in May. She introduced “the realist G in town” to fans at the moment.
She wrote on May 5: “Grant Michael Troutt, so full of passion, purpose, and pleasure, I am pleased I get to do life with someone who loves Jesus and people like you do. The most exciting and adventurous five months of my life.
And after making the decision to reveal their relationship to the public, Madison explained why she felt ready to do so.
She exclusively told E! News, “When you meet someone as amazing as Grant, you want to introduce them to everyone. “He is enthusiastic, motivating, and adorably adorable. I want everyone to know how happy and proud I am to be dating someone like him.”
Madison said of him, “I adore and appreciate most his love for Jesus, his passion to make a difference, his heart for people (no matter who they are), and his excitement for life” when asked what she likes most about him.
