Tina Turner d!ed of natural causes at her Kuesnacht, Switzerland residence.
Turner passed away on Wednesday, 24 May 2023, at the age of 83. She had cancer, a stroke, and problems with her kidneys, but her reps told the Daily Mail that she d!ed of natural causes.
In honor of International World Kidney Day on March 9, the singer of “What’s Love Got to Do with It” said that she put herself “in great danger” just months before she d!ed.
“My kidneys are victims of my not realizing that my high blood pressure should have been treated with conventional medicine,” she wrote in the caption on her instagram. “I have put myself in great danger by refusing to face the reality that I need daily, lifelong therapy with medication. For far too long, I believed that my body was an untouchable and indestructible bastion.
As we know, the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll had other serious health problems later in her life.
She had a stroke in 2013, three years before she was told she had colon cancer in 2016. In April 2017, a new kidney was given to her.
Tina Turner’s Viral Clip
After her Deαth, a clip of the singer stating why she gave up her US citizenship and moved to Switzerland has been found. In the clip, she says that she left the US “because my success was in another country.”
Turner’s then-boyfriend, German music executive Erwin Bach, had to move to Switzerland for work, and she “always wanted to go to Switzerland” and “was very happy.”
Turner gave up her American citizenship and became a Swiss citizen soon after she married Bach, even though the pair had lived in Switzerland for many years before that. In January 2022, they bought a “weekend retreat” in Switzerland.

The news of Turner’s Deαth was posted on her Instagram account on Wednesday with the caption-
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner. With her music and her boundless passion for life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow,” the statement read. “Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who leaves us all her greatest work: her music. All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her family. Tina, we will miss you dearly.”
