The presenter, producer, journalist, voice-over artist, and voice actor Andi Peters (born Andi Eleazu Peters) works for ITV as a television presenter, producer, journalist, and voice actor. The book Molly on the Range: Recipes and Stories from an Unusual Life on a Farm (Rodale Books) came out in October 2016. Yeh won the IACP Cookbook Award for the book, which was judged the best in 2017. It was revealed in June 2018 that Yeh would be presenting a culinary show on the Food Network. The Girl Meets Farm television series premiered on June 24, 2018. The ninth season of Girl Meets Farm will premiere on September 19, 2021, and she will star in it. Yeh married Nick Hagen, a fellow Juilliard music major, in 2015, and the couple relocated to East Grand Forks, Minnesota, where Hagen is a fifth-generation farmer, in 2016.
Yeh and her husband made the announcement that they were expecting their first child in November of last year. She gave birth to a daughter, Bernadette Rosemary Yeh Hagen, on March 30, 2019. Bernadette Rosemary Yeh Hagen is named after her husband’s great-great-grandfather Bernt (who founded the Hagen farm) and her own great-great-grandfather, Bernard. Yeh and her husband revealed in September 2021 that they were expecting their second child, who would be born in February 2022. Molly Yeh’s kitchen was a lifetime in the making, despite the fact that the makeover took 17 months. Yeh, a chef, recipe creator, author, and TV host, spent years cooking in, well, considerably less romantic locations before creating the area in the center of her Minnesota farmhouse.
Yeh, whose second cookbook, Home Is Where the Eggs Are, will be released by Harper Collins on September 27th, laughs: “When I lived in New York, I had a kitchen the size of a closet—I would whip egg whites on the floor of my bedroom and try not to spill.” I became familiar with a few different kitchens through time and gathered bits of knowledge to use in the design of my own. In my first kitchen, I loved the way my stove faced out, but in my second, I didn’t like how the dishwasher was located across from the kitchen. I came across a speed rack [a cooling shelf system] while working in my first commercial kitchen and wondered, “Why don’t we use those in residential kitchens?”
Around the time Yeh relocated to Minnesota, her Instagram account and blog, My Name is Yeh, went viral for their flawless blend of approachable recipes (Tater Tot hotdish! ), sprinkle-laden food styling, and her own cooking show, Girl Meets Farm on the Food Network. Brandi Youngmark, the designer Yeh recruited in partnership with Hayley Lukaczyk, her art director on the program, to bring it all to reality, adds that working on her set kitchen “enabled Molly to dial in on each aspect of her new kitchen to ensure it was as efficient as possible.” The aim? A “jigsaw puzzle” of gathered design concepts, according to Youngmark, that “kept as much of the farmhouse history as feasible.”
