We’re still getting reactions to It’s Only Me from the first day. Like his other projects, Lil Baby‘s latest album is being looked at closely by both fans and people who don’t like him. Over the last few years, the rapper has been riding a wave of success, and It’s Only Me is expected to keep him going.

DJ Akademiks has been listening to the record and seems to have gotten some kind of praise for it. It was pointed out to him that Baby had mentioned him twice, but Akademiks didn’t seem to mind.

Akademiks wrote on his Instagram Story, “I heard le Bebe called me out twice in da album? What did he say to you all? When he found out, the host of “Off the Record” posted clips that mentioned his name right away.

“Really strong, strong as a wall, n*gga, you can’t beat me / Akademiks knows that he is not as wealthy as me. Brodie is ready to eat for twenty pieces. I have nothing to say to you, little people.” In “From Now On,” the rapper is a baby. He added a few more thoughts on “Top Priority.”

“Academics, niggas think they can’t be touched. I don’t spend much time on computers, but CED turned me on to YouTube. I keep trying to tell them that I’m not the same as what they used to be.”

After Akademiks posted a few crying-laughing emojis, he went to Twitter to say something about the rapper. “Lil Baby snubbed me instead of Fani Willis, who is the district attorney for Fulton County, and his real opps. What is Rap music?”

You can expect Akademiks to talk a lot more about this on Twitch. Check out the posts by Akademiks below.
