‘Power Rangers’ Star Jason David Frank Dies At 49

Jason David Frank was one of the original Power Rangers from the 1993 show “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.” He made his first appearance in the Kids’ Series as one of the six crime- and monster-fighting superheroes who wore masks.

But, according to recent news stories, the actor and mixed martial artist killed himself and was found dead in Texas at age 49. Read on to learn!

The character of JDF’s Tommy Oliver in Power Rangers started out as a Green Ranger, but he later became a White Ranger and the team leader. He was one of the main characters for three seasons.

The Current Online reports that Jason David Frank’s body was found in Texas after he had killed himself. Even though the cause of his death is still unknown, his many fans are trying to find out what it might be.

In a statement to The Current Online, Jason David Frank’s representative confirmed the news and said, “Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this terrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful person.” He cared a lot about his family, his friends, and his fans. “We will really miss him.”

Walter Jones, who played the Black Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, sent his condolences and told the media, “He was an inspiration to so many people.” People will miss him very much. “It’s so sad that we’re losing another Ranger.”

Further, the Black Ranger talked about Jason David Frank and said, “Jason was one of the biggest jokers on the show.” He was a crazy-funny guy. We had our share of ups and downs, but I was always there for him when he needed to talk. “My thoughts and prayers are with his family and everyone who will miss him.”
