Is Jojo Siwa Gay Or Straight?

Jojo Siwa Came Out As Gay Two Years Ago: “I’m So Proud Of Jojo, Age 17” Jojo Siwa came out on social media for real in 2021. “I never wanted [coming out] to be a big deal,” she told People a few months later in an interview. “The world has never given me this much help before.” “I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy in my own life before.”

“I’m Not Sure What I Am.” I want to figure it out. I don’t know: bisexual, pansexual, queer, lesbian, gay, or straight. “I always just say gay” or “queer” because I think those words are cool,” she said, adding that she has thought about calling herself “pansexual.” “Technically, I’d say I’m pansexual because that’s how I’ve always been.” It’s like, “My human is my human.”

Jojo Siwa Is Celebrating The Second Anniversary Of Her Coming Out As Gay

Jojo Siwa is celebrating two years since she told people she was gay.

On Saturday, January 21, the teen star wrote an Instagram post about the event. In January 2021, when she was 17 years old, the singer posted a picture of herself wearing a T-shirt that said, “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever.”

The shirt was revealed just one day after Siwa posted a video of herself lip-syncing to Lady Gaga’s LGBT anthem “Born This Way,” sparking speculation that she was gay. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Siwa later confirmed that she is gay. She told the Tonight Show host, “It was a really big risk to post that shirt photo.”

“But I don’t want to lose everything I’ve built because I’m true to myself and love who I want to love.” I don’t want that if I can’t love the person I want to be with.

Since she came out two years ago, Siwa has used her platform to fight for LGBT representation, including calling out Candace Cameron Bure, who used to work with Sweetin.

In November, Bure said that the faith-based network Great American Family would focus on “traditional marriage,” which means marriage between a man and a woman, in its stories. Siwa called this “rude and hurtful to a whole community of people.”
