How Did Jack Hayford Die?

Pastor Jack Hayford died at the age of 88 on January 8, 2023. Jack Hayford Ministries confirmed the news of his death. His friend, Pastor Robert Morris, wrote a statement in his honour, which says,

“Early this morning, my dear friend Pastor Jack Hayford went to be with Jesus. He was 88 years old and was a pastor, teacher, servant, and the Man of God. He was my teacher and spiritual father, and I am so thankful for the way he shaped my life.

Anna, Hayford’s wife of almost 60 years, died on March 8, 2017 at the age of 83 from pancreatic cancer. He and Anna had four children: Rebecca, Jack III, Mark, and Christina. He married his second wife, Valerie, in 2018.

Randy Remington, the current president of Icfg, wrote this about Hayford: “Pastor Jack was a Kingdom Ambassador whose influence crossed denominational, generational, and global boundaries.” Jack’s love for worship filled with the Holy Spirit, passionate intercessory prayer, and biblical preaching that showed Jesus was shown in the way he lived his own life. He really lived the life he told others to live.

Pastor Jack Hayford Cause Of Death

His family says that Pastor Jack Hayford died peacefully in his sleep early on a Sunday morning.

Hayford was born on June 25, 1934. He had a disease that could have killed him, but he was miraculously cured of it. Later, when he got polio, church leaders put oil on him and prayed for him to get better. God again saved him.

“Contrary to what we think, God is not cheap when it comes to miracles and healings,” Hayford said. “Such amazing things happen often when the truth is preached in Jesus’ name.”

The website for his ministry says that “these two extraordinary events lit a fire in Jack’s heart for God and convinced him that the Holy Spirit is alive and active in the modern church.”
