Bria Murphy, the Eldest daughter of Eddie Murphy, and his ex-wife Nicole have together, wed her actor fiancé Michael Xavier on Saturday in Beverly Hills, according to information only available to PEOPLE.
Prior before 250 close friends and family members, the happy couple got engaged in an intimate afternoon ceremony. Bria, a 32-year-old artist and actress, and Xavier, 36, were joined in marriage by her mother Nicole, and her father, who walked Bria down the aisle.
The bride’s dress was made by Netta BenShabu, and Dion Lattimore styled the groom’s tuxedo from Knot Standard.
Throughout the ceremony, which featured romantic decors like white flowers and candlelight chandeliers, photos show the bride grinning.
Bria is seated on her husband Xavier’s knee in one picture, while the newlyweds are seen posing with the bride’s parents in another.
The bride is Eddie Murphy’s youngest daughter, who made an appearance alongside her mother in 2014 on the reality series Hollywood Exes.
In December, Bria posted pictures of her engagement with the comment, “My love, my closest friend, and I. I will always love you.” I can’t wait to marry you, she wrote in another upload.
At the same time, Xavier typed “Forever my love” on his own page.
Eddie, 61, is the father of 10 kids: Bria, Christian, 31, Miles, 29, Shayne, 27, Zola, 22, Bella, 20, Angel Iris, 15, Izzy Oona, 6, and 3-year-old Max Charles. Eric, who becomes 33 on Sunday, is also the father of 10.
At Bria’s Los Angeles painting exhibition in 2020, Eddie referred to her as a “wonderful kid.”
Eddie told reporters, “I’m glad that people get to see how talented she is,”. “We’ve known for years how talented she is. It’s exciting to see her stuff up on the walls… I’m having all of those proud parent feelings.”
He Said, “I really got lucky with my kids. There really isn’t a bad one in the bunch, everyone turned out to be really good people.”
For now, the son of Coming 2 America star Martin Lawrence, Eric, is dating Jasmin Lawrence, the daughter of another actor Martin Lawrence.
Martin, 57, quipped on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last month that if the two ever get married, he’s willing to break with tradition and have the groom’s father foot the bill: “I’m going to try to get Eddie to pay for it.”
