Lil Meech ‘BMF’ Star Beats Rap After Mix-up With Bodyguard In Gun Case

'BMF' Actor Lil Meech Off the Hook in Gun Case

It looks like Lil’ Meech got out of a criminal case.

The 22-year-old BMF Star has been cleared of a gun possession charge stemming from an incident at a Florida airport in 2022, according to Tmz. Agents from the TSA say they found a gun in a carry-on bag that was said to belong to Meech.

The actor, who was born Demetrius Flenory Jr., is said to have said that the bag and the 9mm handgun didn’t belong to him, but the police didn’t believe him because Meech was seen putting the bag on the scanner belt.

After that, the actor was taken to the Broward County Jail and charged with “Bringing a Gun into a Clean Area of the Airport.” After paying a $2,500 bond, he was freed soon after.

The Broward County State Attorney’s Office said on Saturday that Meech didn’t have to go to jail because the incident seemed to be a big mistake. Meech’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, said that they showed proof that the suitcase and gun belonged to Meech’s bodyguard.

The lawyer said that Meech and his employee had similar luggage, and Meech picked up the wrong bag while rushing to catch a flight. A gun case, a weapons permit, and a receipt for buying the handgun were said to be part of the evidence.
