The Romulus exhibition displays feelings of fraternity, camaraderie, and love worthy of the Roma legend. Season 2 of the Sky Originals show Romulus has been renewed due to the popularity of the previous season. Filming for new episodes of the popular period drama series “Romulus” season 2 is currently underway in and around Rome in conjunction with ITV Studios and will continue through November.

The first season will air on Sky every Friday beginning November 6, 2020, and will be available for streaming on NOW. Season 2 of Romulus is set to premiere in 2022. Let’s learn more about ROMULUS Season 2, Sky’s original series, and everything we already know.

Romulus Season 2 Is It Renewed?

Right now Show Status Officially renewed for 2022 is Romulus Series 2.

Romulus Season 2 Release Date

Matteo Rovere’s journey between history and legend back to the origins of the story of Rome’s creation was the subject of first-look images released by Sky for season 2 of the Sky Original series ROMULUS.

New episodes of the series are now being filmed in Rome and the surrounding area and will do so through November. The episodes are being produced by Sky, Cattleya (a division of ITV Studios), and Groenlandia in collaboration with ITV Studios. Season two of Romulus will release on November 15, 2022.

The upcoming season of Romulus won’t keep viewers waiting too long (ROMVLVS). It will debut on Netflix on the dates that have been confirmed. Eight episodes will make up Season 2 of Romulus. Remain tuned!

Cast of Romulus Season 2

Sky has added five new cast members to Romulus Season 2. Andrea Arcangeli and Yemos, the stars of the first series

  • Ilia is played by Marianna Fontana.
  • Wiros is played by Francesco Di Napoli.
  • Valentina Bellè portrays Ersilia.
  • Sabos is played by Max Malatesta.
  • Vibia is played by Ludovica Nasti.
  • Atys, the young king of Satricum, is played by Giancarlo Commare.

Emanuele Maria Di Stefano as Titos Tatios, monarch of the Sabines and son of the God Sancos, Rome’s most powerful foe.

Sergio Romano (as Amulius), Demetra Avincola (as Deftri), and Vanessa Scalera take their places (as Silvia).

Episode Guide for Season 2 of Romulus

Season two will consist of a total of eight episodes.

Similar to the first season of the show, which ITV Studios has already released in more than 40 countries, the second season is entirely shot in archaic Latin and is once again helmed by Matteo Rovere, Michele Alhaique, and Enrico Maria Artale, with Francesca Mazzoleni, set to greenlight one of the brand-new episodes.

The screenplay is once again being created by Filippo Gravino and Guido Iuculano, along with Flaminia Grassi and Federico Gresini, who have just been added.
