Crunchyroll has now announced the exact time and date that the first episode of Rent A Girlfriend Season 2 will be made available outside of Japan.
On July 1st, 2022, the broadcast schedule for summer anime begins, and it’s full of familiar faces.
The second seasons of Classroom of the Elite, Shadows House, The Devil is a Part-Timer, and, of course, Rent a Girlfriend are widely considered to be the four most successful shows of the Summer schedule.

On Friday, July 1st, Rent A Girlfriend season 2 will launch in Japan and around the world via Crunchyroll.

WHAT HAPPENED IN THE SEASON 1 FINALE?
In the premiere of Rent A Girlfriend, Season 1 Episode 12, “Confession and Girlfriend,” Kazuya and Ruka finally go on a date after Kazuya finally agrees to go on a date with her. And just as he was ready to tell her how he really felt, he saw Mami and Chizuru, with Mami revealing that she was aware of Chizuru’s true employment all along.
Chizuru, little befuddled, asks why Mami is doing all of this just now; meanwhile, Kazuya pretends to be sick so that he can follow them. When he asks Mami about her reaction to Chizuru telling her that he is her lover, she responds with remarkable evasiveness.
Kazuya expresses his gratitude to Chizuru for advocating on his behalf and admits his desire for them to become a committed partnership. However, he starts to feel awkward and adds that this is only a temporary arrangement.
Chizuru is embarrassed by the prospect of having a real boyfriend as the next day begins normally.
