Hunter x Hunter is a Japanese manga show produced by Nippon Animation, directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, and written by Yoshihiro Togashi. It was first released in 1998, and the manga has been on hiatus since 2006.
Togashi’s original manga series has two different anime adaptations. The first season aired in October 1999, and the second season aired in October 2011. The series is separated into six seasons, each with its own tale.
The story follows Gon Freecss, a little child who was told that his parents had perished. Learn that his father is still alive, but that he abandoned Gon when he was a child. Gon’s father is a well-known Hunter around the world.
As a result, Gon resolves to become a Hunter and track down his father. He meets several other hunters and comes across many strange things on his journey. Hunter x Hunter was a big hit, selling 78 million copies in 2019, making it the best-selling manga series of all time.

Hunter X Hunter Season 7 Expected Release Date
Hunter x Hunter’s seventh season, which is expected to release in late 2022 or early 2023, will have a total of 12 episodes. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Hunter x Hunter (2011) anime, Megumi Han and Mariya Ise will participate in a public radio program.
Hunter x Hunter is a six-season animated series produced by Madhouse Animation Studios with a total of 148 episodes. Because there was no shortage of material, only three seasons were released in 2012. The ’13th Hunter Chairman election’ narrative is what I’d call a great way to end the sixth season.
The creators of Hunter X Hunter Season 7 have yet to make an official announcement, therefore a precise release date cannot be determined. However, until that news is made, we must remain hopeful about the series’ future. If the studio hasn’t made any cancellation notifications, we may be in for a long wait.

Furthermore, even experienced animators struggle to complete a single episode, and our research suggests that the organization has hired multiple freelancers who are complete beginners. They’ll take a lot longer than we expected, which is why Haikyu Season 5 has been delayed as well.
It’s impossible to say without official confirmation of the renewal. There is still more work to be done, and the maker’s mental health is currently more vital.
We have enough material for another season, and Hunter x Hunter Season 7 might release as early as 2023. We’ll have to wait till Madhouse provides official confirmation.

Hunter X Hunter Season 7 Expected Plot
The incomplete source material, the Hunter x Hunter manga, is the major hold-up for the upcoming season of HxH, as previously stated. The manga is known for being delayed, but the most recent hiatus, which began in late 2018, is reportedly owing to Yoshiro Togashi’s chronic health concerns.
However, if season 7 of HxH is ever released, it will almost certainly be the final chapter in the story of Gon Freezes and the Hunters. In 2018, just before the manga’s longest hiatus, it came to the point where either the story finished first or I died before that happened. But I aim to complete it.
While fans may find it difficult to say goodbye to a series as vast and elaborate as ‘Hunter x Hunter,’ they should be prepared to do so regardless of whether Season 7 arrives or not. Hopefully, the ending includes more of the series’ epic animated battles that fans have grown to expect.
