Formerly News at Noon, The Current’s news events discussion forum has a new name:

What’s Current Wednesdays!

Sponsored by The Current

What’s Current Wednesdays (News at Noon) is a monthly forum for student and faculty discussions about current events. Each Wednesday a discussion will be led by a faculty expert. The event is open to the public.

News at Noon builds on the Collegiate Readership Program, a national program designed to enhance the learning environment on campuses, by providing weekly forums that encourage faculty and student discussion of current events in the world. Sponsored by The Current, the UMSL student newspaper, the series is designed to encourage college students to read more and be aware of current events.

The next What’s Current Wednesdays is on Oct. 10 at 2 p.m. Join The Current and Dr. Perry Drake for a conversation about net neutrality in MSC Century Room A.
