The following is a series of daily crime and incident reports issued by the University of Missouri-St. Louis Police Department from Sept. 7 through 13.
Sept. 7, 2018: An UMSL student reported their parked car was struck and damaged in parking lot E.
Sept. 8, 2018: No incidents to report.
Sept. 9, 2018: At 5:26 p.m. UMSL Police found an insecure door in the Sculpture building. All was in order and the building was secured. At 5:40 p.m. two vehicles were involved in a collision in parking lot JJ resulting in minor damage and no injuries. At 8:23 p.m. UMSL found a damaged Bird Scooter, which the company retrieved.
Sept. 10, 2018: At 10:33 a.m. an UMSL student reported their parked car was struck and damaged in south campus parking garage. At 12:15 p.m. a Metrolink passenger was transported to the hospital via ambulance after experiencing chest pains. At 12:44 p.m. an UMSL staff member was transported to the hospital via ambulance after experiencing leg pain. At 2:30 p.m. an UMSL student in Benton Hall refused additional medical condition after feeling ill after eating.
Sept. 11, 2018: At 12:09 p.m. two vehicles on West Drive collided with minor damage and no injuries. At 7:55 p.m. an UMSL student in the Recreation and Wellness Center refused additional medical attention after suffering an eye injury while playing basketball.
Sept. 12, 2018: UMSL PD responded to an alarm on the Optometry van and discovered an open window and items moved. An investigation with UMSL staff is underway.
Sept. 13, 2018: No incidents to report.
