The following is a series of daily crime and incident reports issued by the University of Missouri–St. Louis Police Department from Sept. 14 through 25.

Sept. 14, 2018: At 4:34 p.m. A laptop was found and placed in possession of the UMSL PD and united with the owner.

Sept. 15, 2018: No incidents to report.

Sept. 16, 2018: At 10:42 a.m. a student reported that they lost their wallet at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere metro station stop. At 11:34 a.m. a student at Oak Hall reported that they smelled marijuana the day before the report. At 1:54 p.m. a student reported that the driver’s door of their car was slightly open as well as weather stripping damage. No items were reported by the student to be stolen or missing from the vehicle.

Sept. 17, 2018: At 1:42 p.m. UMSL PD responded to an incident at the Millennium Student Center in which a highly intoxicated student was committing a peace disturbance and had reportedly assaulted another person; the UMSL police initiated an arrest to which the suspect resisted against. The suspect assaulted the officer during the booking process while the suspect was in custody.

Sept. 18, 2018: At 3:34 p.m. the Bel-Nor Police responded to an UMSL student in the Mercantile Library who felt dizzy/disoriented but did not want treatment or emergency services. At 5:03 p.m. the UMSL PD assisted with the situation regarding the UMSL student that felt ill in the Mercantile Library.

Sept. 19, 2018: At 1:30 p.m. a lost debit card was turned into the UMSL PD, the owner has been contacted and will pick up the item. At 3 p.m. an UMSL student reported damage to their car due to an unknown source.

Sept. 20, 2018: At 8:20 a.m. an UMSL grounds crew was mowing grass and hit something, causing the object to break the window of a car. At 1:08 p.m. UMSL PD responded to a vehicle

accident in which the driver hit an UMSL sign and flipped their car. Only minor injuries were reported by the driver.

Sept. 21, 2018: At 4:46 p.m. a pair of keys were turned into UMSL PD. At 9:46 p.m. an UMSL student reported receiving a fraudulent email asking the student for money. At 10:26 p.m. the UMSL police found a bike lying on the road.

Sept. 22, 2018: At 8:21 p.m. UMSL PD found a pair of car keys and a fob in Woods Hall. At 2 a.m. UMSL students reported a racoon being chased by other students at University Meadows. UMSL police promptly removed the animal from a dumpster unharmed.

Sept. 23, 2018: At 3:14 a.m. UMSL PD responded to a report of loud music at Oak Hall. The music was turned down and all was in order after the police visit.

Sept. 24, 2018: At 7 a.m. UMSL PD verified a sex offender registration. At 11 a.m. a pair of keys was found in the Social Science Building; the keys were later claimed by the owner. Delta Zeta reported a stolen TV that was taken between the time period of 9/3/18 & 9/24/18. An UMSL Student from Pike fraternity house was referred to Bel-Ridge police department regarding their lost cellphone. At 6:30 p.m. a backpack and laptop were found and turned into UMSL PD. At 6:30 p.m. a bong was turned into UMSL PD.

Sept. 25, 2018: At 2:06 p.m. a student caused a peace disturbance against a group hosting an information table on campus and was arrested for assault and peace disturbance. At 5:21 p.m. a student refused treatment from emergency services after suffering severe migraines, a friend later picked the student up.
