- UMSL Homecoming 2018 is this week. The marquee event of Homecoming is the Dinner & Dance, happening February 24, from 5:30 to 11 p.m. at the Hilton Ballpark Village Hotel in downtown St. Louis. Tickets for the Homecoming Dance are available now $30 for an individual, $55 for a couple, or $275 for a table of 10. Buy your tickets in person at the Office of Student Involvement or online at umsl.edu/go/IIT. Visit homecoming.umsl.edu for more information. - Registration for the 2018 Women’s Leadership Institute is now open. The Women’s Leadership Institute aims to enhance leadership abilities, increase awareness of personal skills, and assist women in developing learning strategies to help them successfully navigate their professional and personal lives and create positive sustainable change in their communities. The 3rd annual Women’s Leadership Institute will take place March 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Millennium Student Center. - You are invited to join the Office of Student Involvement for “I, Too, Sing America: Black Patriotism in the U.S.” In consideration of the National Black History Month theme being African Americans in Times of War, join OSI for a conversation on the historical questioning of black patriotism in the U.S. from past to present.
