Office of Student Involvement

With only two weeks of classes left in the spring 2019 semester, there is still plenty happening on campus! See what is going with the Office of Student Involvement over the final weeks of the semester:

  • UMSL Students of Service is hosting a special project before the end of the 2018-2019 school year. Spring Into Action! is a drive for Biddle House Opportunities Center (BHOC), a facility that provides emergency shelter to single men experiencing homelessness. Items will be collected until May 3. Join us as we bag the donated items to give BHOC for their daytime service center May 8 in Century Room C from 3- 5:30 p.m. The most needed items include socks, underwear, umbrellas, hygiene items, wet wipes and reusable water bottles. If you’d like to donate, you can bring items to one of four drop-off locations on campus: The Office of Student Involvement (MSC 366), the MSC Information Desk (Second floor, by the escalator), Room 116 in the South Campus Classroom Building, or the TJ Library. Each drop-off location will have a red bin in which you can place your items.
  • The spring 2019 Commuter Cash Auction is happening THIS WEEK Thursday, May 2, at 3 p.m. in the MSC Fireside Lounge. If you are a commuter student and have attended any of the eligible Commuter Cash events throughout this semester, come use your “UMSL Bucks” to bid on a variety of prizes at the auction. Prizes available at the auction include a Roku TV, Cardinals tickets, Beats headphones and many other exciting things! Come to the Commuter Cash auction, out-bid your friends and finish your semester with a “win”!!

For questions or concerns about any of these events, you may contact the Office of Student Involvement at 314-516-5291 or
